Privacy policy
Effective 26 October 2026
Who we are
This policy covers the website marmaladelabs.io and Marmalade Signals, an internal tool operated by Marmalade Labs (“we”). Questions go to privacy@marmaladelabs.io.
This website
This website has no forms, no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Marmalade Signals and Google user data
What it accesses
Marmalade Signals connects to the Google Ads API using Google OAuth. Only members of Marmalade Labs sign in to it, and only to our own Google Ads account. It reads keyword planning data for keywords we choose: estimated monthly search volumes, competition levels and suggested top-of-page bid ranges, plus the account’s currency. It does not access campaign contents, billing details, or any other Google account data.
How it uses the data
Solely to plan our own advertising: estimating what a search ad campaign for a keyword set would cost, and recording how those estimates change over time. It does not create, change or delete anything in Google Ads.
How it stores the data
Responses are stored as files on our own computers and in private storage we control. OAuth credentials are stored only on the computer that runs the tool, readable only by its user, and are never committed to a repository. You can revoke the tool’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent Google user data, and we share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, such as our hosting and software tools.
Marmalade Signals’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
